If that happens, we will discuss the additional findings and any recommended changes to the repair before proceeding with work beyond the original scope.

Yes. We repair stress cracks, soft spots, rot, and related fiberglass damage. Because visible damage may not always show the full extent of the problem underneath, we evaluate the affected area and address damaged material as part of the repair process.
Can fiberglass and gelcoat repairs be color matched?
In many cases, gelcoat can be color matched to closely blend the repaired area with the surrounding finish. The final result can depend on factors such as the boat's age, existing fading, original color, and condition of the surrounding gelcoat.
Where are you located, and how do I bring my boat in?
K&R Fiberglass and Coatings is located in Puyallup, Washington. Because we operate by appointment, all boat drop-offs and pick-ups must be scheduled in advance. In most cases, customers will need to bring their boat to us or to an arranged nearby location. Contact us to discuss your repair and schedule the appropriate drop-off location and time.
